| Aldo
Beppu & Sean Deveraux // Social Studies
Social
Studies Design was formed in the Spring of 2004 from a union
of 2 like-minded individuals who felt there was a hole in the market
for unique, handmade, yet affordable goods for the urban male. Since
the beginning, they have continuously expanded their range of techniques
and media to encompass the things they love. Amazingly, both have
managed to maintain full lives outside of the art/fashion world:
Sean is a biologist, and Aldo is a physical therapist. To date,
Social Studies had been a hobby and a creative outlet, but as their
clothes have been featured in print and television, and demand has
grown, they are likely moving towards designing full time.
