- 3 of the t-shirts you design FREE, in any sizes you specify
- your bio and website info on our website's arists page
- your bio and website info mailed to each subscriber with the t-shirt
- a picture of your t-shirt in our online gallery

all you have to do is...
- submit your design and info using the guidelines below
- agree not to use the design for another t-shirt
- sit back and see if your design gets chosen (we decide really very quickly, like, within a day or two.) if it does, you'll get $50, 3 t-shirts, and your face splashed all over the place.

Guidelines and Details for Design Submission
please submit all of the following information to artists@mailboxtees.com, with an image of your proposed design. be sure to read all of the guidelines before sending!

:: the info we need to know ::
» your name
» the title of your design
» the series (choose metropolitan or nature vs. humankind - find descriptions here)
» a url or link to pictures of your work (optional)
» the number of unique colors (1, 2, or 3)
» your ideal t-shirt color/style for this design to be printed upon

:: image format requirements ::
» when submitting an image for review, you can submit a low resolution version. preferred file formats are pdf, jpg, tiff, gif, psd, ai, or eps.
» if your design is chosen, you will have to submit a 200 dpi actual size psd or tiff file, or an illustrator file, true vector at actual size.

:: design dimensions and placement ::
» the design must fit within a 12 x 12 inch area and can be on any part of the shirt, including wrapping around side seams.

:: colors ::
» designs must be printed in 1, 2, or 3 unique colors only. unfortunately we can't print gradients, photographs, or tiny halftones.
» black and white do count as colors. the color of the tee shirt does not count toward the three color limit.

:: rules ::
» the design must NOT contain copyrighted material.
» you are welcome to submit multiple designs, but please don't submit the same design with different color or placement specifications.

:: legal ::
» by submitting this design you agree that you have not and will not print it on any other t-shirt, nor submit it for printing on any other t-shirt production website.

:: misc ::
» if your design is selected, you will be asked to provide a 3 sentence bio and a photo for our artists page and print materials.
